With respect to its dimensions, it is slightly larger than its predecessor. This 2016 model grew 1.1" on length and 2" on width, but is 0.8" less high. At the same time, the torsional rigidity has been improved by 25% thanks to the use of high strength steel which reduced its weight on 66 lbs. Due to this, the new Honda Civic gets a better ride comfort and a more streamlined handling.
The interior of the 2016 Honda Civic has not suffered big changes. It includes a new 7-inch touch-screen that allows you to connect iOS and Android systems. In the upper finishes, it offers dual zone climate control, electric parking brake as well as adjustable and heated seats.
Mechanically, it has two new engines which stand out by their greater efficiency and lower consumption. The LX and EX versions come loaded with a 2.0L 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC engine that is coupled to a six-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic.
