According to its completely clean CARFAX Report, it has also had a good maintenance history. One of the CRV's common maintenance items, the Valve Cover Gasket, was replaced at around 130K. For whatever reason, our experience has been that Hondas built in Japan hold up better and are usually in nicer condition. Equipped with a 2.4-Liter DOHC 16V 4-cylinder engine, this peppy little CRV had original factory specifications of 160 horsepower and 162 lb ft of torque with an excellent SUV fuel-mileage rating of up to 26 mpg highway. It has a recommended maximum towing capacity of 1,500 pounds. Mechanically, it starts, runs, drives and performs exactly like you'd expect a lower-mileage Honda to. All four 205/70R15 tires mounted on OEM 15" Steel Wheels are in good condition. For even more peace-of-mind in terms of long maintenance, this Honda CR-V has a Timing Chain instead of a Timing Belt which means it doesn't require periodic replacement. On the outside, this CR-V's rust-free exterior is finished in an appealing Satin Silver Metallic finish that is complimented by a Black Charcoal Cloth interior. Inside, its smoke-free interior came originally equipped with Power Windows, Locks & Mirrors; Cruise Control; Tilt Steering; CD/Cassette Audio and more. It even has the original factory fold-out picnic table still in it! As with any pre-owned vehicle, it does have the usual amount of cosmetic imperfections that are inherent to a vehicle of this age and mileage.
