The financial publication Kiplinger conducted a study to select the cheapest cars to own and maintain in a period of five years of use. These are the cars that cost less for their owners and to conduct this analysis considered different variants such as the cost of insurance, depreciation, taxes and fees, fuel costs, and repairs among others. The selected cars are all small in size since they have the lowest price in the market, greater fuel efficiency, and lower insurance costs. All of these cars come with six airbags, anti-lock brakes, and traction control, and some of them with manual transmissions.
