Cars Seized to MegaUpload owner, Kim Dotcom

After the arrest of Kim Schmitz (Kim Dotcom) in recent days and the closing of his website Megaupload, the list of the many cars seized by the FBI has come to light. Check the pictures at the end of this article.

Something I can be sure of is that the owner of MegaUpload, a portal that allows users to share files, in most cases violating automotive copyright laws, is a big fan of Mercedes-Benz, particularly of the sports division AMG.

Among the 24 cars seized, 14 are from the German house, with some MINI, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Rolls-Royce to vary things a bit, even a couple of classic Cadillacs are on the list.

Something that is also worth mentioning is the plate numbers that have his cars. All are custom numbers that give some personality to each car.

Kim Schmitz faces a sentence of 50 years in prison, and we have to wait to see what will happen with all these cars and the rest of his properties. If they are auctioned, there are several babies in this list that could be sold for money, as in the case of the Mercedes CLK DTM AMG.

This DotCom guy is completely insane, living his own Hollywood movie. It is sad to see how lose the notion of reality the people who suddenly start to make money. If the owner of MegaUpload had kept a low profile, he probably would not have been wanted by the FBI. Just look at his licence plates, GOD, MAFIA, WANTED, etc, he was too obvious. What is true is that Kim Schmitz has very good taste in buying cars. I hope he gets smarter in jail and buys cheaper cars when he gets free.

I don't think this guy, Kim Dotcom, had many real friends. Hey everyone, I just read that MegaUpload's founder, Kim Dotcom, was released on bail. In New Zealand, after his lawyers appealed the decision that kept him in jail since his arrest. The judge found that the risk of escaping from prison is not enough to grant him freedom until the hearing is held to lay out the charges against him. Kim Dotcom, of German citizenship, faces possible extradition to the United States for crimes of piracy and copyright infringement, in addition to charges of conspiracy to commit racketeering and money laundering. Just a reminder. Dotcom and three of his associates were arrested a month ago, but he was the last one to be given the option to go free on bail.

I just read that Kim Dotcom, the Megaupload founder, is asking for more than $184,000 a month in the High Court in Auckland to live and cover their expenses. Crazy good life lover guy, eh?

Kim Schmitz or also known as Dotcom, will know today if the court maintains or revokes the parole granted last week, and his wife Mona wants to get the money from the assets and accounts that were confiscated after his arrest in January.

This money, in case of is granted by the court, would cover the salaries of bodyguards, butlers, tutors for one of the sons of Dotcom and expenses of his wife Mona, who is pregnant with twins, according to the TVNZ television channel of New Zealand.

Furthermore, today it was revealed that the U.S. authorities are investigating the Dotcom wife, Mona Schmitz, under this operation against hacking, according to TVNZ.

I hope Kim Dotcom achieves the liberty, he can be a bit eccentric, but also helped and made many people happy with the service provided by Megaupload.
