Some car manufacturers make real the dream of many with vehicles more and more extravagant, packed with luxury and breathtaking power. However, these automotive jewels have their price and very few are able to pay for them, making these models become even more admired and exclusive.

There are models for all budgets but some exceed the limits. Here, the 10 most expensive cars of 2012 according to Forbes magazine.

10. Porsche 918 Spyder

Country of origin: Germany
Engine: 3.4-liter V8 500 horsepower and three electric motors which add another218 hp, making it accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds.
Price: $845,000.


9. SSC Tuatara

Country of origin: United States
Engine: 6.8-liter V8 gives 1.350 hp and reaches 60 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds.
Price: $970,000 (approximately)


8. Hennessey Venom GT

Country of origin: United States
Engine: 6.2-liter turbocharged V8 that gives it an acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
Price: $1 million (for the 1.200 hp model)


7. Pagani Huayra

Country of origin: Italy
Engine: V12 700-horsepower made by Mercedes-Benz. The initial acceleration is 3.5 seconds.
Price: $1.3 million


6. Aston Martin One-77

Country of origin: England
Engine: 7.3 liter V12 with 750 hp and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.
Price: $1.4 million


5. Maybach Landaulet

Country of origin: Germany
Engine: A 12-cylinder with 620 hp and acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
Price: $1.4 million


4. Koenigsegg Agera R

Country of origin: Sweden
Engine: 5.0-liter V8 1.115 hp with acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds.
Price: $1.7 million ($1.5 million for the basic model, but they are $211,000 more for the R equipment and with $270,000, you will have the carbon fiber version.


3. Zenvo ST1

Country of origin: Denmark
Engine: A V8 of 1.250 horsepower that allows it to reach 60 miles per hour in 2.9 seconds.
Price: $1.8 million


2. Ferrari 599XX

Country of origin: Italy
Engine: V12 of 700 hp that lets you accelerate from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds.
Price: It is rumored that passes the $2 million (this car is not street-legal, and its sale is only available by invitation). The replacement of the car, called the 599XX EVO, will be released in the Geneva Auto Show.

Country of origin: France
Engine: A huge 16-cylinder that gives it 1.200 hp and acceleration from 0 to 60 in 2.4 seconds.
Price: $2.6 million.


I know this is a kind of off-topic subject for this forum, but come on, it is worth seeing these beautiful cars and knowing they are the most expensive cars in the world. Which one is your favorite? If you were rich and multimillionaire, which one would you like to park in your garage?

Simply WOW! These cars are made for gods. I'd like to know who are the owners of this so expensive vehicles. I didn't have any idea of the existence of most the brands mentioned. If I were rich I'd buy the SSC Tuatara, is beautiful, I'll start to save from now on the one million it costs. I can't imagine how they look in their interior.
