Chrysler is working hard to get ready the new Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 since its production is scheduled for May 3.
Chrysler auto-maker plans to upgrade or completely replace the entire model line in 2012, and the new Grand Cherokee has a heavy load on its shoulders. This SUV not only must show to the world that Chrysler is serious about putting its overall quality, but must continue to offer services that are attractive not only for off-road, but for those enthusiasts who are looking to satisfy a well-done family and city transport.
The new Grand Cherokee will be available with either Chrysler fully of 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar, or the much loved 5.7-liter V8 Hemi. Moreover, a much better platform (derived from the Mercedes-Benz M) means that the GC will be substantially stiffer than the previous model, with features like an automatic suspension.
The trail of the Grand Cherokee is as great as the reputation established by its previous generations, so that Jeep will have to fight very hard to prove that this model not only continue being one of the references between the large 4x4, but can also meet the role of minivan amply raised. Because like it or not, that is the role it often plays.
The 2011 Grand Cherokee comes to hit dealers from July this year.
