The Ford Focus is a real world car, sold around the planet with only minor modifications for local tastes and needs. It will have international style, high-tensile engineering efficiency and also will be environmentally friendly.
Ford is offering two new options in the U.S. market for small cars, starting with the Fiesta subcompact. It is available in 4-door sedan or hatchback versions. The car is equipped with a standard 1.6-liter engine, 4-cylinder and 5-speed manual transmission.
It is also available in 6-speed manual transmission version with dual clutch. It is able to yield up to 40 mpg on the highway and its price range starts as cheap as $13,320 only. The Ford Fiesta should be a real headache for cars like the Toyota Yaris.
Ford introduced the new Ford Focus at the Detroit Auto Show this year. With a completely new style and a 2.0L engine with direct injection and 4-cylinder, the Ford Focus is the older brother which is as attractive as the Fiesta.
Buyers can choose a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed dual. When the car arrives to the dealerships later this year, its price will be similar to the current model, about $16,000 dollars, and will be able to run almost 40 mpg on highways.
