The new 2011 sedan Chevy Cruze is coming to the market during the last quarter of this year, after being subjected to lengthy and demanding tests in fields as diverse as the scorching Arabian desert, the icy Scandinavian landscapes, or the humid jungles of Venezuela.
During this period of testing, the new Chevrolet car met a total of 4,000,000 miles, demonstrating a proper functioning despite having to withstand extreme temperatures, ice, rain, mud, humidity, altitude and routes roads precarious.
Tests were carried out with a 2011 Chevy Cruze model powered by a relatively small 1.4-liter turbocharged, which not only responded positively to the dry desert heat or the altitude of the Alps, but also demonstrated their ability to save fuel. According to the american automaker, the Chevy Cruze 2011, in its Eco model, will yield 40 MPG (miles per gallon).
Developments are also recorded in inside space of the new Chevy Cruze 2011. It was redesigned in order to offer a greater extent than its competitors like the Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic. It is equipped also with a windshield with acoustic insulation, which protects occupants from the outside sound.
About the protection, the new and cheap Chevy Cruze is equipped with 10 airbags, including front and side driver and passenger, the rear seat side curtain, roof and front air bags for the knees.
Moreover, the driver has the assistance necessary to stay safe on the road through the use of technologies such as electronic control system with traction control stability and the well-known ABS (Antilock Bracking System) in four wheels.
The initial price without tax of the 2011 Chevy Cruze in the U.S. market will be $16,995 which is relatively cheap.
