• About The 2008 Hummer H2

There was a time when there were lots of news about Hummer vehicles. However, times have changed and the wheels sure just keeps on rolling. Hummer vehicles were put aside despite any updates on it because the industry was keeping their eyes open for updates on green vehicles. And we know that Hummer vehicles are not that environment friendly with their gas-guzzling ways.

For 2008 though, Hummer has made sure that people knew about changes made to its Hummer H2. The changes were not only about Hummer parts but there were much changes on the design and the performance of the vehicle. Truck Trend did cover what the 2008 Hummer H2 has to offer after quite a number of staff from the online magazine found the vehicle to be interesting.

For 2008, the Hummer H2 seems not to have changed with regards to its exterior. You would notice though that there have been more areas of the vehicle painted and the grille was given a wider opening. However, aside from those, there are not much changes to done on the outside.

Now if you venture inside the 2008 Hummer H2, that would be when you would see the difference and changes done. The dashboard comes with a new layout. Also, upgrades were done to the gauge cluster and the center stack. Overall, experts have found that the interior of the Hummer H2 has improved. Writers from Truck Trend have also shared that the design and style may have taken some inspiration from that of the Chevrolet Tahoe GMT900.

With the changes done to the interior, a person taking a seat inside would be able to feel like the vehicle has been made bigger. Although we know that the Hummer H2 was made to be a rugged vehicle, the changes would make you feel like the 2008 Hummer H2 now has been given some refinement. There are new seats and the materials used are better and more comfortable.

The 2008 Hummer H2 has also received improvements with regards to safety. The three rows of seats inside are given safety with head-curtain airbags. Yes, there is an airbag for each row. The head-curtain airbags are also connected to the vehicle’s rollover mitigation system which is also a new feature. Made standard on the vehicle are belt pretensioners, the traction control system, the electronic stability control system, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
